We are planning to publish a social workers directory, and we will include your details in the directory, consisting of only professional information. If you are not part of the solution, then we are the problem. If you are not part of the success, we are part of the failure. If you are not part of a successful social work association, then we are the reason behind the failure of the social work association.
We live in a challenging and fascinating world. We have learned how to travel to the moon and project a satellite around Mars, yet we often have difficulty reaching someone in the same room. This paragraph is very relevant to our social work profession. It is very challenging to find a functional social work association. Social workers need to have a strong professional network. Even auto drivers have a strong and functional association, so why can't we?
Think about who is responsible. The modern age is called an age of cooperation, correlation, and coordination. Nothing can exist in isolation, but we social workers are living in isolation. We do not have any functional professional social work association in Karnataka. Can we call ourselves cooperative, coordinative, and correlative? Many students of social work and social work professionals are aimless, goalless, with no teacher behind and no goal in front.
If we list out our problems, there are countless. To solve all problems and bring effectiveness to our profession, we need to organize.
