As per my knowledge,
Salary: which we fix for the month (that is for the Staff employees like supervisor and above).
Wages: which are paid on a daily basis or on a piece rate (that is for the contract labor and other laborers).
This is as per my knowledge.

wages r meant 4 workers or operational level...and salary is meant 4 corporate level and functional level..(top n middle level)

Actually, there is no difference. Salary implies white-collar employees, whereas wages are attributed to the workers or the blue-collar employees.
