Dear Friends,
We all have a busy schedule, so what do we do when we are stressed? What were we doing during our school and college days?
Let us share our hobbies and know the different activities a person can do so that we all can learn from each other.
So let me share my hobbies:
1. Listening to Maestro Illayaraja's Music
2. Singing
3. Cooking
Come on, friends! Looking forward to your hobbies!

Hi nithya_hr,
What pets do you have, Abhi? Can you share their names and tell me about them?
Why not, Nithya? I have a Bulldog and a German Shepherd. They can be dangerous to others but are good friends of mine. They will not allow anyone to come and touch me without my permission. I am very fond of dogs. They are clever, honest, and good friends of humans. One is Jimi, and the other is Timmy. They like to play cricket with me. They communicate with me in their own language. You need to understand them. They will talk to you, laugh at you, and even say "I love you," but one needs to understand. Their tails express everything about them. This is all about my doggies.
Thank you.

That's true. I had a dog in my mother's house. My dog, Pappuch, died this Saturday. It was just 1.5 years old. My house dogs lived up to 15 years, you know, our luck.
Yes, Abhi, dogs speak to us. When we are tired and back at home, they welcome us.
When we are sick, they cry for us. They stay near our leg. When I was a kid, we had a Pomeranian named Rover. He was possessive of me; except for my mum, no one could come near me.
In our street, if anyone wears a lungi or pedals the cycle, they are gone. Their flesh is in the mouth of Rover. A very naughty dog, he only knows one day in a week, that is Sunday. God, he loved to go walking that day. When he was sick, he went away from home. He did not want us to see him die. Such a sweet dog. While going, he carried my little socks; I don't know why he did it.
My grandma used to have 7 to 9 dogs. God, I think I bored you guys.

Nice thread Nithya and nice experience you shared. I always wonder why dogs run behind cyclists and bark? By the way, if you don't mind, please don't type in 'Bold'. It's difficult to read and strains the eyes.

Oh, and my hobbies are cooking, doing crafts of all kinds - paper, ceramic, wax, etc., and reading fun stuff like Harry Potter.
And now, Nithya, this thread has actually made me remember how little time I spend on doing all these things I love... :(

It's very touching, Nithya. Even I have a dog in my native - Chittoor. It's a Pomeranian - 4 years old. We named him Munna. Every morning, it kisses my mom and wakes her up. It welcomes us with love and affection even though we beat or scold it. If my mom says that Amulu is going to come today, it will sit near the gate until I come.
We can understand his every expression. My mom can exactly identify what it wants to say. For every action, she has the answer. My mom says that this sound states that it's hungry, angry, hurt, wants to play, sick, etc.
My mom's sister resides next to our house. Whenever my mom says, "Go and call Kala" (my aunt), it simply wags his tail, directly goes to my aunt's house. If the door is closed, it knocks the door and barks so that my aunt can identify him. As soon as my aunt opens the door, Munna will bite her saree pallu and bring her to my home.
Munna barks at every bike and cycle that passes my house. If the cylinder delivery person comes, it will keep quiet until he brings in the full cylinder but doesn't allow him to take away the empty cylinder.
One day, my dad had some problem with his bike, so a mechanic came to my house, checked it, and said that he needs to take the bike to his shed. My dad was holding Munna, and as soon as the mechanic started the bike, it got very irritated. Once the mechanic crossed our street, my dad released Munna, and you know, in a span of 5 minutes, Munna, the mechanic, and the bike were in front of our home.

Once my mom was very sick and the whole day Munna was next to my mom. It didn't even drink water. From that day onwards, up until now (this happened before 2 years), one day a week it doesn't eat anything. We don't know why?
Every day, my dad or brother must take him for a bike ride, or else they are finished. Whenever my mom goes to the shop, it will go along with her. Like small children, after reaching the shop, it will bark and lick my mom's feet for a biscuit or chocolate.
Once my mom bought a new curtain. I hope that smell had attracted him. He tore that bedsheet and tried passing through the torn place. Unfortunately, it got stuck and was swinging. It tried a lot but couldn't balance and was swinging. I can never forget that incident. It was so funny.
When it was small, it was amazed to see itself in the mirror (dressing table). Initially, it used to bark at itself. It scratched the mirror because it mistook the dog in the mirror as barking at him. If we shout or scold him, it will keep quiet for 5 minutes, then does bungee jumps, licks us, or does some funny things to cool us. We enjoy a lot with him.

Hobbies:
1. Cooking
2. Meditation
3. Meeting strangers
4. Guiding people when they need your help
5. I spend 5 minutes a day to keep my road clean.
Make it like this; it'll be easy for others to understand about you. I think you guys are still in a college mood only, filling tons of papers to get good marks. Keep smiling. Now, don't get angry at me for telling you guys are bad. Cheer up, take it easy, and maja madi.
