Hi everyone,

I am supposed to deliver a lecture on psychometric testing to MBA students. I have material in Acrobat that I am unable to convert into a PowerPoint presentation. I am attaching the material. Kindly provide me with a PowerPoint presentation on the topic or help me convert this. I have tried changing properties to Notepad but was unsuccessful. It cannot be converted to Word either. Please help urgently.

Thank you.

Hi,

You have reasonably sensible material on the subject. The document is encrypted and password-protected; hence, you may not be able to convert it. However, creating a PowerPoint presentation on the same will require some time and would demand your efforts in this direction. Someone should be able to help you if you compensate for the time.

Good luck!

Dear Jaishree,

You have to invest your time to prepare presentation slides from the material available with you. Nobody can convert a PDF directly to a PPT as you presume. Prepare a gist or relevant points from the material you have, then get it done through someone who knows the preparation of PPT slides.

Jaishree,

As other people mentioned, I would suggest reading the document and making notes of the relevant points that you want to present. However, for copying text and/or images, you can do the following:

1. Copying Text:
Select the text you want to copy using the mouse.
Go to Edit->Copy (or Right Click & copy).
Open Word, PowerPoint, or Notepad, and paste the text.

2. Copying Images:
Take a screenshot using the Print Screen button.
Open MS Paint.
Paste the picture.
Select the relevant portion of the screen using the mouse.
Go to Edit->Copy to copy the selected area.
Open Word or PowerPoint and paste the image.

Dear Jaishreepunekar,

Hello, I am hereby attaching some PPTs on Psychometric Testing. I don't know how to change yours into PPTs, but I think my postings may help you. I got them through the net from various sites.

Best of luck!

P.S. Psychometric Testing is a vast topic. You haven't mentioned what kind of PPT you want. I haven't gone through yours.

Hi , I think you can convert first your document to Word with a converter which you can find on Internet . There are also applications for password remove, but I think this is not legal . SSSAV

The material is good. But if you are handling MBA students, you need to be thorough with the content. It will be good if you make your own PPT slides. The advantage of one’s own PPT are many.

The content is good and well-written. Even the PPT sent by another member is also good. Once you are thorough with the content, you should make your own PPT. PPT slides help you to keep focused on your delivery and complete the session in a given time. There is no hard and fast rule as to how many PPTs you should make for a given session, but the PPT should be crisp and catchy. Some visual images in the PPT will remove the boredom of watching only words, but these images should fit the content. I have always enjoyed my work as a content writer and faculty, and I am sure you will also enjoy.

Here is a joke on Educational Delivery: Faculty to his fellow faculty: I taught them for the first time and again for the second time when students expressed a lack of understanding. I had to do it for the third time, yet the students could not understand, but I could. :icon1:
