Hi Amarendra,
There is no hard and fast rule that says you can't do it, but since the SAP HR role itself seeks a person with previous work experience in HR or, as is the case with other SAP functional modules, it is better to have some exposure to real-time HR work. However, as it seems you are currently a student, you can try out Siemens or Genovate to obtain the SAP Functional Certification (Cost: Approx 3.75 lakhs).
If you have any further queries, please let me know.

Hi Prabin,
I am also interested in a career in SAP. Many HR professionals are facing challenges in building their careers in SAP these days. Your idea of starting a group for SAP HR professionals is truly wonderful, and I am keen to join the group.

Hi Prabin,
Thank you for your valuable information. My friend is working in an IT company as an SAP HR professional. He has 4.5 years of overall experience in HR, with 2.5 years specifically as an SAP Functional consultant. He is currently seeking a job change and is concerned about his career due to challenges in the industry. Please inform me if there are any openings for SAP HR professionals, as he is willing to relocate anywhere in India. How is the industry outlook for SAP HR professionals? Is there significant growth for individuals in this field?
I am also interested in exploring SAP HR. I have 2.5 years of experience as an HR executive, mainly focused on recruitment. Is it necessary for me to gain experience in post-recruitment or generalist activities, besides recruitment, to transition into SAP HR roles? We are eager to become part of your network. We would appreciate it if you could send us invitations to the following email addresses: srinii.saphr@gmail.com, swapnasriniv@gmail.com.
Thank you.

Hello Prabin! Greetings for the day!
I am an MBA HR professional and have learned SAP HR. I am interested in joining your group. My email is
.
I have a query related to TIME MANAGEMENT, and I hope you can provide a solution.
Question: In the Holiday Calendar, I have created my own public holidays with fixed dates and months. Then, I assign them in the holiday calendar and finally create the Factory Calendar. Now, my holidays are displayed when viewing any year's calendar. However, I am not able to see them in any personnel number report in HR21-calendar. When I assign some already created holidays, those are displayed in the report. Also, in the initial screen of the calendar, the transport option is inactive.
Please suggest what to do?
Regards,
Joy
