Dear Gambhir, Sodexho booklets have tax exemption to a max limit of Rs.1300/- p.m. Beyond that, they are taxable. Regards, Vijay

Sodexo coupons are an attempt to save on your income tax. For example, if some companies work on a 70-30 scheme where 70% is your taxable income and 30% is non-taxable, then 20% of your income will have a Sodexo coupon component as well. If you wish to withdraw from the scheme, then the income becomes taxable.

Thank you for your inquiry. I have checked with our Accounts Department and was informed that the limit has been removed for the current financial year. Previously, the limit was Rs. 50 per day (50 * 26 days = Rs. 1300 per month).
