Hi, I have worked with an organization for only 4 months. There was my PF account, and they deducted the PF amount around Rs. 5100.00. I left that organization without obeying the notice period. Now I have another PF account in my current organization. What is the procedure to withdraw the amount or transfer the amount from the old PF account to my new existing PF account? Can anybody give me an idea regarding this?

Hi,
Please find the attachment (Form 13) for the transfer of PF amount. Transfer should be initiated. You need to fill out the form and submit it to your current employer, who will then send the form to the PF Office.

If you have worked there for six months, it means you can't withdraw it; however, you can transfer it from the previous employer. For that, you have to submit Form 13 from the current employer, and it has to be forwarded to the PF office. From there, they will send it to your previous organization for verification. Later, that amount will be transferred to the current employer.

Hi Raj,
Yes, definitely you can withdraw the PF amount. I suggest you withdraw the PF amount instead of transferring it to your present company. To withdraw, you need to fill out form-19 along with the SSN form and submit them to your previous company for their necessary formalities.
God bless you!

Dear Members,
A similar case happened to one of my friends. He resigned from his previous employer without completing his notice period because the management was insisting on retaining him and not relieving him at any cost. However, his resignation letter was accepted by the employer.
Is it possible to withdraw the PF amount if the person directly approaches the P.F. office without the consent of the previous employer?
