Please help me in drafting the format for communicating the training calendar to the employees. I have worked very hard on creating a training calendar and want to reinforce the same by power-packed communication to the employees. Please suggest how to go about generating such employee communication.

Hi,
It seems you have done the hard work of developing a training calendar. Prioritize the needs of departments and send the email (including the WIIFM - what's in it for me) to department heads. This is when buy-in will happen, and people will look forward to attending the program. Work out the details of when, where, and how you can conduct the training programs.

Thank you very much for your reply, Sir. However, are there any innovative ways to communicate it to the employees? Perhaps through attractive PowerPoint presentations or attention-arresting PDF documents? If anyone has such documents, please upload them here for members' perusal.

Why not try things in groups? Explain the calendar to the managers and have them present it to their groups and ask for their feedback on it. But remember, you must be willing to consider the feedback if you choose to ask for it. I realize it's been a while since this post, but I hope it may help a bit. Making the process simple is also a good way to have employee engagement. They don't want a lot of stuff to read. They want to get to the point and have it explained to them how it will improve the organization and themselves.
