In August 2025 month our one employee completed his 58 years of the age . And company wants to continue his service .
So in that case how we can prepare this employee pf monthly contribution ECR .
And can we prepare his separate pf ecr or can we prepare the same with all the employees monthly ecr . please suggest .

As per the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) scheme in India, the retirement age is 58 years. After an employee reaches this age, the employer's contribution towards the EPF ceases. However, the employee can continue to contribute to the fund.

1. If the employee wishes to continue contributing to the PF, you can include his contribution in the regular monthly ECR along with other employees. There's no need to prepare a separate ECR for him.

2. The employer's contribution towards the PF will not be applicable anymore. So, in the ECR, the employer's contribution column for this employee should be marked as zero.

3. The employee's contribution should be calculated as usual and included in the ECR.

4. Ensure that the total contribution (employee's contribution plus employer's contribution) for this employee matches with the total contribution reflected in the ECR.

Remember, it's important to communicate with the employee and make sure he is aware of these changes. Also, it's advisable to consult with a legal expert or the EPF office to ensure compliance with all regulations.
