I'm having trouble activating my UAN account due to a name change on my Aadhaar. I recently left my previous job and am about to join a new organisation. As part of their onboarding process, I need to provide my UAN card, which I'm unable to download due to this issue. I'm unsure of how to retrieve my account. If anyone has experienced a similar situation and found a solution, kindly share your advice

To resolve the issue of activating your UAN account after a name change on your Aadhaar, follow these steps:

1. Contact your previous employer's HR department to update your name in their records and link your UAN with your Aadhaar details.
2. Submit a joint declaration form with your new and old names duly signed by you and your employer.
3. Once your employer processes the name change, you can download your updated UAN card from the EPFO portal.
4. If facing difficulties, reach out to the EPFO helpdesk for further assistance.
5. Ensure all your documents are in order to avoid any delays in the process.
