Dear Experts,

One of our employees has been employed twice in the same company as per the service history given below and completed 57 years on 23rd November. So please confirm her previous pension amount. Will it be transferred or withdrawn after the age of 58 years? His pension amount will not be deposited after 58 years. Please help or give your valuable suggestion.

1) DOJ - 01-June-2006 DoE- 30-Sep-2018 (Completed 12 Years 3 Months 29 Days) - PF Amount withdrawal
2) DOJ - 01-Oct-2019 DoE- Till date working - PF/Pension amount contributing

Hi,

When a PF member is applying for PF/Pension transfer from one employer to another employer (or to the same employer when resigning and rejoining), the PF amount will be transferred and shown as a cumulative amount. However, the pension amount will not get transferred and will remain in the old account. At the time of applying for a scheme certificate, the overall amount in the pension account will be considered for pension payments.

Dear Mr. Chauhan,

The concerned employee needs to apply for a Scheme Certificate (Online) regarding their first EPF & EPS Membership. After receiving the Scheme Certificate, it must be submitted to the current employer for forwarding to the relevant PF Office. During the computation of the pension, the service details specified in the Scheme Certificate will be considered along with the current EPS membership.
