Last year we have applied for labour Licence from Labour Department. We are in the process of completing our job. What is the procedure to close a labour Licence?

Dear Colleague,
Labour License is understood as a license under the Contract Labour Act. The license is valid for a specific period (from a start date to an end date). If you do not apply for renewal, the license validity will expire automatically. You can then apply to get the security deposit back by sending an intimation in the prescribed form called "Notice of completion of Contract Work."
If the work is completed within the licensed period, you still need to send the intimation under the CLRA "Notice of completion of Contract Work" in the prescribed form to retrieve the security deposit.
I am sharing the format as per the Central Rules. If you fall under State Rules, please look for a similar form under the State Rules.

I/We, Shri/M/s. (Name and address of the contractor), hereby inform that the contract work (Name of work) in the establishment of (Name and address of principal employer) for which license No., dated ..., has been issued to me/us by the licensing officer (name of the headquarters), has commenced/completed from (start date)/on (end date).
