Hello Everyone,
I am currently working in Government Service since the last 6 years, which I joined on 12.02.2016. However, my previous company, in which I worked for 4 years and 1 month, I resigned from on 07.02.2022. Due to the collection of documents from my Institute, I was not able to serve the full 30 days of the notice period. I served 25 days, but my manager didn't release me earlier, so I left without clearance. After joining my government service, I emailed the company to provide me with an experience certificate in my favor, and they did provide one, but they mentioned the release date as 15.02.2016, whereas I actually joined my current service on 12.02.2016.
My current Government organization did not conduct a proper verification when I joined, but now they are saying that there is an issue of overlapping certificates, which is illegal as per Indian law, and I may not be able to apply for a higher departmental post. I have approached my previous company regarding this, and now they are stating that I had not cleared my dues and outstanding, so they cannot provide me with an experience certificate. I have expressed my willingness to clear all outstanding dues, but they are not responding positively and are taking too much time; it has been 25 days since I started trying.
I was not aware that this situation could arise. Please suggest what I need to do. My current organization is insisting on changing the letter before I can apply for the higher departmental post. However, the deadline for applying is approaching, and the letter cannot be changed in time. I am in a difficult situation and seek advice on what steps to take to prevent my career from being halted. Is there an alternative option for me to apply for a higher post in my department?

I have contacted my previous company, and they informed me that I had outstanding dues, which need to be cleared before they can provide an experience certificate. Despite my willingness to settle all outstanding dues, they have been unresponsive and have delayed the process for the past 25 days.
I was not aware that this situation could arise. Please suggest what steps I should take. My current organization insists on changing the letter before applying for a higher departmental post. However, the deadline for application is approaching, and the letter cannot be modified in time. I am in a difficult situation, and my career progression is at stake. Is there any recourse for me to apply for a higher post in my department?

Hello Everyone, I'm currently working in Govt. Service since the last 6 years, which I joined on 12.02.2016. My Current Govt. Organization didn't do a proper verification at that time when I joined, but now they are saying that this is a case of overlapping of certificates, which is illegal as per Indian law, and you could not apply for a higher departmental post. Regarding this, I have approached my previous company, and now they are saying that you had not cleared your dues and outstanding, so we could not provide you an experience certificate. I told them that I am ready to clear every outstanding due, but they are not giving me a better response and taking too much time, since I have been trying for the last 25 days.
I was not aware that this could happen. Please suggest what I need to do. My current organization is saying to change the letter; then only you can apply for a higher departmental post, while the last date for applying for the post is nearby, but the letter cannot be changed in the given time. Please help me, I'm in big trouble, suggest to me what to do as my career will be stopped. Is there any option that I can apply for a higher post in my department?

Hi,
Please approach your ex-employer in person and explain your current situation to them. Based on your statement, it appears there is a 5-day shortfall with your ex-employer. Check if they are expecting any payment for the shortfall notice. Fulfill any obligations and obtain a proper relieving order.

The posting suggests confused facts. It is stated that you are in Government service. What is the mode of recruitment?
How come the aspect of verification subsequent to appointment and joining duty? Such a procedure seldom takes place in Government service.
Were you earlier employed in Government or in the public sector?
