Respected seniors,

One of our employees came to work under the influence of alcohol. We identified this behavior and initiated disciplinary proceedings against him, conducting an inquiry. During the inquiry, he admitted his misconduct unconditionally and requested the management to provide him with an opportunity. He also assured that he would refrain from all such misconduct in the future. Considering his difficult family situation and his sincere plea, the management intends to offer him a final chance by issuing a stern warning letter.

I kindly request the experts to provide me with a sample warning letter in Tamil format.

Thank you.

I am an HR consultant, and Tamil is my mother tongue. I also conduct training in Tamil for several companies in Tamil Nadu.

If you have a sample in English, please send it to me on WhatsApp at 9844008049. I need clear details to write properly. Best wishes.

Dear SmadanHR@gmail.com,

If a worker commits misconduct, then the worker deserves to be taken to task. However, here, you may not focus solely on the person who committed misconduct. If the worker reported for duty under the influence of alcohol, why was this influence not detected by the security personnel? Shouldn't the security personnel be vigilant enough to observe the body language or smell of an inebriated person? The security guard should have stopped the worker right at the gate and not allowed him to enter.

Please assess whether there was a security failure. Perhaps the situation warrants an improvement in the quality of the security personnel. I suggest this because in many places, security guards are no more than mannequins!

Thanks,

Dinesh Divekar
