Hi, Up to Rs.15000 PF deduction is implemented or what (Except HRA). If implemented we can consider 40% of HRA on Basic and DA salary? Please Suggest.

Monthly fixed salary is $14625. On this amount, 50% is considered as Basic and DA wages, and PF is deducted on only Basic and DA wage, with 40% of the PF wage considered as HRA.

Is this salary breakup legally acceptable? Please advise.

There is no legal restriction on how much HRA should be, so there is no problem with that part. However, 40% and 50% equals 90% What happened to the balance 10%?
