I read this book - Who will Cry when you die. This book is on “Spirituality”. While I was reading this book, certain questions flashed on my mind. Actually speaking, who will cry when you die?
Parents,
Spouse,
Kids,
Relatives,
Friends
Throughout our life, we work for “people around us” but then when we are, no more...who will cry? Will any? I do not think so.
I was watching one serial. One character dies in it. It is shown that his family members (wife, children, relatives, siblings etc ) are more interested in his wealth, his saving etc.
I agree that...none of us (No one in the world) is big enough to create any vacuum by their demise (absence)...but yet...
So, what do you think...who will miss you more...who will cry...when you bid adieu to this world?

Of course, no one in this world will cry lifelong if one dies because as it is always said, "Life goes on," but that place becomes empty when someone dies, and no matter what, no other person can fulfill the emptiness of the person who holds a close and dear place in one's life.
And please don't talk of serials; it's all useless as they do not increase your knowledge but instead corrupt a person. I personally think they should be banned, especially all the serials of Ekta Kapoor.
Well, after my death, of course, my spouse will cry aloud, not for long, I guess, but he will. Sure, he will.
So, who will cry after you die? Do reply to me.

All fingers are not of the same size, all people are not the same type. To cry is a good thing as tears help in putting out pain. When we lose someone, it is like a shock, and tears spontaneously come in our eyes, and we lose control over our tongue, words, behavior, and everything. But as time passes, the state of shock converts into pain, which we feel inside our hearts.
Remember when eyes cry, everyone can see and know, but when hearts cry, only those whose hearts cry will know; the rest will be unaware. Sometimes we have a smile on our lips, but in our hearts, we are sinking and crying.
I agree greedy people are very crazy for wealth and materialistic things, but not everyone in this world is greedy. There are many who can sacrifice all wealth and kick all treasures by their foot; if it were possible, they would get their dear one back.

Remember when eyes cry, everyone can see and know, but when hearts cry, only those whose hearts cry will know; the rest will be unaware. Sometimes we have a smile on our lips, but in our hearts, we are sinking and crying.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my question. I agree with your point of view and also believe that life is about making others happy, laughing together, and smiling together. This is a way to live life; it is not an analysis of your life.
Let's take another look. Life, as a whole, is a cycle starting from birth and ending with death, a known phenomenon. As long as anything is in process, you can judge its impact. Just as you cannot judge the success or failure of a show while a performer is on stage, no one can actually evaluate your life while you are living. It's only after death that the impact of your life can be felt; people may cry for you, feel proud of you, and remember you in a certain way. So, in short, we should do things in our lives in the best possible way we can, living uniquely and then leaving the stage.
Life is a stage show. Do your best and move on. (Aur Abhi show khatam nahi hoya hai. Kahaani abhi baaki hai)...the show has not yet ended...

I would like to modify this statement to "who will cry because of you?" and "who will cry for you?"
I don't think it's necessary to wait for a physical death. We die on our own - failed examinations, uncertain relationships, financial losses, including the loss of loved ones... at these occasions and other similar ones, "we die inside".
The more important thing for those who cry is "what next".
I think the need for crying would be far less if we were to get out of "judgement" mode which has been ingrained in us since our childhood.

If we say no one will remember or cry for us or just feel the absence... I think we didn't basically live our life. My grandfather died 15 years ago, and I still remember him. Sometimes I long for him to be there to share his knowledge and love with us.
So, my point is if we spend our lives showing real care and love to people (the way we love ourselves) and continue to have an attitude of being good to those around us, those whose lives are impacted will certainly at least shed a tear - not of grief, but of gratefulness.

I just want to ask you one question, i.e., does it necessary to cry? I don't think so because there are people who cry with a loud voice just to get the attention of others and show how sad they are, but actually, they have nothing to do with the incident or death.
At the same time, there are people who are devastated from within, but others hardly see any tears in their eyes. Few people are able to show their emotions by crying, laughing, or dancing, but there are few who fail to do so unlike others.

That's correct. I do agree with this. You know, I believe in one thing - when I came out from my mom's womb, I came out alone. When I die, people (family, parents, friends, relations) may accompany my body till the grave, but not into the soil. I'm the only one who goes into the soil. So, believe in yourself and do not depend on others (which is practically not possible). This is how life - I'm sorry, human mechanism has been programmed.

Actually, that should be the spirit... karam kiye ja phal ki ichaha na ka eh insaan. Someone slaps you on one side, offer him the other. If someone hurts you, gives tensions to you, you keep on loving that fellow. Work for the whole year but do not expect any increment or promotion... Thanks for sharing...

"Have you made people smile while you are alive? This is a more appropriate question than, "Who will cry when you die?" You ain't gonna be alive to see if people are crying or not, so better care about their smiles and happiness."

Honestly, I don't want my beloved to cry. I may feel very helpless at that time if I could see them cry from somewhere even after my death. It's not about crying; it's about how people "miss" you in their daily life that matters to me.

The point in life is to be good and do good so that when the end comes, one dies with a clean mind. Help others to one's best level; remember we are only instruments in the hands of God.
