Dear Mounika & Chouhan,
The labour laws are very vast and dynamic which keep changing drastically. Moreover, they are not uniform all over India (like the other govt. laws of Income Tax, Company Act, GST etc.). So it is very difficult to understand all labour laws in short period. This is because all laws don’t apply to every establishment, hence everybody can’t be experts of all laws (exceptionally the consultants / lawyers who have different associates / panel for all labour laws).
Rightly said by Mr Madhu, this forum is the right place to learn new updates, different views applicable in different scenarios. “Don't expect to become an expert in HR/IR and Labour law using capsules”. First go through the basic act/s one by one than keep updated by daily reading of latest discussions on those acts.
I have posted a presentation related to most preferred act (being applicable to most establishments). Since after that so many changes happened. You can go through the below link for the basic knowledge. However, if you need more clarification on any particular topic / case study, than you can share the same for reliable responses from the experts.

Hope this will help you in gathering knowledge.

Dear Mr. PS Dangwal Ji,
I was delighted to see your presentation and truly appreciate the efforts you put into it. However, I kindly request you to look into the following:
1) The latest amendments in the ESI Act,
2) Amendments in the PF Act,
3) Amendments in the Maternity Benefits Act.
Creating an updated presentation with these amendments included would greatly benefit the budding HR officers and executives in various private companies.
Thank you and best regards,
From India, Aizawl

Labour laws are mainly based on the decisions of the courts, which keep on changing. This is because the laws are not codified in time, and therefore, one cannot find the law by reading statutes. In fact, the labour laws are not complicated, but they are just a small part of civil law. However, in the absence of clarity, they become complicated and change according to interpretations of the courts.

Indian labor laws are a vast and elaborate subject to start with. You need to be specific about which areas you need to update, and it has to be issue-based. As professionals, we can always guide. You may be in touch. The laws keep on modifying in the form of amendments.
