We want to absorb a staff who is currently on retainer basis to our company payrolls . Please guide us with the process as well as the legal implications of the same . Can we issue the staff a termination letter till the last day of the month and issue an appointment letter with the first day of the next month ?

Dear Prachi, In my opinoion Retainership completion letter/Termination of Contract of retainership is required to be issued . Then only we should go for fresh joining. Rgs, Vivek
