Hi Everyone,

I want to know how much P.F. we can withdraw in advance. For example, I have Rs. 100,000 in my P.F. account (P.F. + Pension), and I want to apply for advance P.F. withdrawal due to illness. What percentage of the total amount can I withdraw? Please educate me about P.F. withdrawal.

To get help with your withdrawal, ensure your KYC is verified in UAN and Aadhar contains your mobile number. In case of medical reasons, ESIC coverage in your establishment is necessary to avail proper benefits. Reach out to your employer or HR for assistance.

You can withdraw 60 to 70% while filing an online claim. Please put the amount on the higher side. They will disburse according to your liability. Once, I had $66,000 in my account (only employee contribution) and asked for $40,000 for the same reason, and I got it.

An employee can withdraw up to 6 months of their basic and DA or their entire contribution, whichever is least, for the treatment of their own illness or the treatment of family members. No specific membership period is required for this purpose.
