I am Srikanth from Hyderabad. Earlier, I worked as a software engineer in the .Net platform for 3.5 years and was laid off in 2009. Since then, I have been working in the teaching field at an engineering college. Now, I am interested in returning to a software job. Can somebody advise me on whether I can secure a job after a 9-year gap? Is there any chance? What can I do to have my resume shortlisted in a software company? I kindly request you all to suggest some ideas. I am already brushing up on .Net concepts and practicing on my laptop.
