Hi everyone, Pls advise me is there Any laws or rules to govern part time employment in an organisation that is covered under Shops and establishment .

There is no separate rule for part-time employees. The only thing is that all the rules applicable to full-time employees will also apply to part-time employees. Consequently, they are eligible for PF, ESI, or other statutory benefits such as bonuses, gratuity, etc.

Regarding wages, they must be paid minimum wage rates as applicable to full-time employees but in proportion to the hours they work in the establishment.
