Hi All,

I am an HR professional working in an IT firm in Bangalore. I joined the current company in June and informed my employer about my pregnancy two weeks after joining. Things were going well, and my manager had discussed providing a proper handover before I went on maternity leave. However, just one day before my maternity leave was due to begin, my employer terminated me, even though I am currently in the 9th month of my pregnancy.

Please advise.
