As per EPFO circular dated 1st December 2017, the EPFO has introduced a facility for members to merge their earlier PF accounts into the current PF account. This initiative aims to assist members in integrating all their PF accounts into the currently activated UAN PF account. Features of this facility include:
- Providing the current activated UAN, current member ID, and registered mobile number at the UAN Member portal.
- EPFO facilitates the registration of EPF accounts by allowing members to enter details of up to ten previous PF account numbers.
- Forwarding the earlier PF member IDs provided by members to the respective EPFO field office.
- EPFO is actively sending SMS to members with pending requests and ensuring prompt consolidation of multiple accounts. The functionality is available on the EPFO website under 'Our Services > For Employees > One Employee - One EPF Account' or through the URL One Employee One EPF Account.
