Hi CHR.... how are you? There is some problem with the signatures. The one that used to come below our post, after a line, doesn't anymore. I rechecked my settings; the option of "ALWAYS USE SIGNATURE" is set to YES :) and also checked my earlier posts. Also, I checked posts made by others who had a signature, but they don't anymore. Please look into it.

Hi Sunayna,
Signatures are usually used by members to promote their blogs or company websites. We have put the signature as a feature provided to the supporter members. There are a couple of reasons for doing this:
1. Signatures with links usually increase the link keyword density of the pages in an uncontrolled way. It also passes page rank to the member's website.
2. It is distracting for members who are reading the text.
To reduce this, only supporter members will have their signatures activated.
Warm regards,
CHR

Hi Scare_crow,
The king of controversy strikes again! :icon4: Just kidding.
Of course! Everyone is - which is why everything is free on the network. But there are many tangible costs involved, and we need to classify some features on the board as special features. Just a web server costs $175, and we have recently hired a writer and an editor for the CiteMan articles. I can go on adding to the cost list, but I'll let the financial aspects be a "need to know" until the IPO :icon1: A subscription feature is being introduced to help us develop the community, maintain the website, and ensure that our doors are open for years to come.
I will be releasing the supporter subscriptions soon. Of course, supporting the network is an optional feature - the network will still be free - the supporters will, of course, have some special benefits and the gratitude of all the members and also that fuzzy warm feeling that comes with supporting a community.
Warm regards,
CHR
