Dear respected seniors,

I have a confusion regarding the overtime amount of workers. My question is, while preparing the annual returns for minimum wages, Payment of Wages Act, and CLRA Act annual returns, whether the overtime amount shall be considered in the total wages paid in cash or not.

Also, my area labour enforcement officer is forcing me to submit the annexure along with these annual returns for inspecting the calculation of mandays and total wages paid in cash. If there is an ideal format for calculating this, please share it with me.

Kindly advise me on this matter so that I can act accordingly.

Everything is available on the Labour Return Portal Shram Suvidha. Yes, the allowances that are considered for ESIC payment should be shown in the labour return as well. Make the ESIC contribution record as master and go ahead.
