Hello, if some p.f. no’s not not allotted UAN. what should we do in new ECR Format. Like new joining in Nov.'2016.

In case UAN is not allotted, the employer has to:
1) Check for UAN under the member portal after logging in.
2) If no UAN is found, then generate a new one, showing the date of appointment in November 2016.
3) Be sure that all KYC compliance is offered, including the mobile number.

Please download the list of UANs from the EPF portal. Every employee has a UAN. If there is no UAN, generate a new UAN. For the generation of a UAN, no date of joining is required. Any person can generate a UAN, similar to a PAN, without an EPF ID. Only provide this UAN when you join any establishment.
