One of my friends, known to me, joined a company and left the organization in just 1 month. He was shown as absconding. Now, in his appointment letter, it is written that the employee should give one month's notice period or give 1 month's basic salary.
Friends, my question is: What does a company do in the case of an absconding employee? Secondly, should he approach the company and give one month's basic salary and properly resign? He is confused about what to do and what will be the company's course of action in the case of an absconding employee?
