Hey guys, good evening!
Only three days left and I haven't submitted my assignments to ISTD DIPLOMA. They want these answers of maximum 300 words. Can anybody guide me regarding this? If I write more than 300 words, will they accept it? Please guide me.
Thanks,
Krunal

Krunal,
I replied to your query, nevertheless, writing it again for you. 300 words is the minimum content they expect you to write; you may exceed the same if the answer is justified, but please be precise. Ideally, one side of the A4 size paper should be enough.

Hi Krunal,
I would like to add something. Though they have given a limit of words, it really doesn't mean what they want is a to-the-point answer. As Preeti said, very precise.
In my case, I have received some response sheets where they have written comments for not justifying questions properly. I sent response sheets that contain more than one or two pages, but in some answers, comments were written asking, "Where is the conclusion?" "Where are the examples?" "Where is the diagram?" and so on.
So, what I would suggest is to be specific, clear, and to the point and not to worry about word limits. It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is the quality of your answer. Use various resources for the same so that you can score well out of 10.

Thank you, Chaitali, for providing me with this vital information. Could you please tell me if they can provide any extra time for these response sheets? I am not prepared at all for this, and I will not be in a position to use any further references or something like that today. I am solely concentrating on finishing the task and submitting it before Monday, as it is the last day.
Thanks again for your support.

Hi Krunal,
They do provide extra time for submitting response sheets, but you need to pay extra money for the same. It would be better if you submit on time. They won't mind a delay of 1 or 2 days, but not more than that.
If you don't have time to go through other resources, then no problem. But don't write everything from the material they have provided. Don't worry; you have to submit it anyway as you are running out of time, and submission of the response sheets is a prerequisite for appearing in the examination. So, it's better to courier them as soon as possible.
The only thing is if you write it nicely, then you can secure good marks. As you know, the marks you would get in response sheets would directly be counted. I have experienced and seen that they do check the entire answer and are not that liberal.
Don't be afraid, and try to courier it before time.

Hi Krunal,
Have you completed the assignment or not yet? I am a holder of this diploma, which just adds some academic sanctity to what I know and what I have been doing in the realms of training. Anyways, it will be useful for you to get this diploma if you are really interested in becoming a trainer.
As all others have opined, it is the quality of content and not the words that matter. At the same time, if you exceed too much beyond the indicated limit, you will not get many marks, my friend. Just empathize with the feelings of the evaluator - in training, you must always empathize with the feelings of your trainees.

Hi Suyog,
Thank you very much for this much-needed information. Suyog, could you please tell me the relevance of this course in the market? I am working in an IT company as a corporate trainer. What all courses or certifications are there in the market like this? Is this ISTD course really worth doing or not? I have BPO experience throughout my career. Am I eligible for the course as well? Please suggest.

I have just completed this diploma. ISTD is one of the prestigious training institutes. They are also involved in Corporate Training. This Diploma will definitely add great value to your CV. In addition to this, they do organize good training programs from time to time.
Many senior members are there on this CiteHR forum who completed this program some years ago. They can provide more insight on the market value of the same.
