Dear HR members,
Greetings.
I have attended interviews recently and have been shortlisted by 2 companies. If both companies release their offers simultaneously, I will need to choose one company and decline the other.
My question is, if I decline the offer from one company after receiving the offer letter, would they consider my application if I reapply in the future?
Would it be advisable for me to inform the company that I have already received an offer from another company, so that I can potentially apply to them in the future?
Your help and comments would be highly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi,
You can reapply for the company in the future. They do consider your profile, but every company has a policy. Once a candidate is rejected or selected but does not accept the offer, they should come back after 3 or 6 months. So, no issues with that. You can state the fact.

Dear,
It is the decision of the employee to accept or reject the offer given by the company. So, you need not worry. The company will not waste its time carrying a grudge over you in case you apply again. Do not get into the depth of sensitivities.

Hi Anonymous,
You have been given good practical advice by fellow Cite HR members. Perhaps you are doing some loud thinking. Once you take up a job after carefully considering all the relevant things, you do not expect an immediate change. You would probably apply after a couple of years, by which time your 'resume' will have a few more additions. The previous application and the post applied for may even change. Hence, please be cool and concentrate on your present job. You can cross the bridge when it comes.
