Dear Swati,
The policy is almost the same as with other companies, but it also depends on the urgency of termination and the reason for termination.
Otherwise, we do pay a salary for 7 days in the case of unconfirmed employees and for 30 or 60 days in advance as per the policy for confirmed employees.

Hi Friends,
We are also about to terminate an employee, as he has not reported to the office for the past 8-10 days and also not taking our calls. He had just last informed us that he is not well. His performance was also not up to the mark, and he was given verbal warnings for the same.
What salary is he eligible to get from our side? Do we need to give him any notice period, or can we terminate him from the date he is not coming to the organization? Kindly let me know. Also, if someone could help me out with the format for the same.
Thanks in advance. :)

Dear Nikhil,
In case of absence without any information, it is better to first issue a warning letter stating to rejoin duties within 48 hours of receiving the letter; otherwise, your service will be terminated from the company's side. Please send it via registered post as it would be more valuable in case of legal issues.
Regards,
Amit Seth.
