Administration deals with the overall functions of a business. Its purpose is to ensure that the business goals are met by managing all the resources of an organization, including Human Resources. Whereas Human Resources deals with the management of employees through their employment cycle, which includes selection, recruitment, training, development, and termination in an organization. Hence, Human Resources is a specialized field, while Administration is a holistic field.
