Hi All,
I am an ex-employee of Kingfisher Airlines. I left my job in 2010, but after some time, the company closed completely. Now, when I am trying to contact Kingfisher to obtain my Provident Fund number for the withdrawal of my PF, no one is responding to my emails. Can anyone please suggest what I should do?
Thank you.

Hi Gitika,
My suggestion is to go to the local PF office and inquire about your company code. Submit your details and the amount of PF deducted from your salary. Before proceeding, please check your salary statement because in the payslip, they will mention the PF number on the top right. The PF number is also mentioned in the salary slip.
Thank you.

Dear Information Seeker,
As Mr. Gupta suggested, you should visit the EPFO official website to find your organization's name. There, you can discover information about your organization's code, address, and more. After that, you can register your grievance on the online portal. The Assistant PF Commissioner should reply to you and address your query promptly. This is the best way to gather information without physically visiting the PF office. It truly works, although sometimes it may take time, so do not forget to send reminders using your ID and password.
We hope your query will be resolved soon.
Thank you.

Hi Gitika, If you just want to know your PF account number, you can refer to your payslips. Most of the MNCs follow this practice. Kind Regards, Suraj

Dear Gitika,
My suggestion is to visit the EPFO website and file a grievance for your concern. This will be resolved over email for sure. Even I did not receive my PF Account number from my previous organization. I filed a grievance on the EPFO website attaching my salary slip. I received a response from the EPFO office by email within a week. Hope this will also work for your concern.

One of my relatives working in a famous hotel group in Chennai was given a PF number when joining, and salary deductions happened for a period of 4.7 years. Now, he has moved out of the company for personal reasons but has found no record of his PF. The number given to him is fake. He called the HR, but they are not responding well. He then wrote a letter to them, but there has been no response. He is also eligible for gratuity for that period.
The owner of the firm wants to close this issue by paying 1 lakh rupees, but his lost deductions were around 1000 rupees for a period of 2 years. Moreover, he is entitled to gratuity.
Is it advisable to approach the PF office or the Labour office? Please advise.

Dear Gitika,
First of all, your PF number is mentioned on your slip. If you have missed your payslip, then you should visit the PF central website and fill in the grievance details. However, for this, you need to have your organization's PF number. This process may take some time but will definitely resolve your problem. For any other queries, feel free to contact.
Thank you.

Dear Prashant,
Thanks for your reply.
I have one more query. The same employee, who previously worked at Kingfisher, was working at Air Deccan. Could you please help her to retrieve her PF Number?
Name: Mamatha B H
Designation: Customer Support Executive
She checked her balance amount at Kingfisher; it's some XXX Number. How can she apply to withdraw that amount?
Thanks
