Thank you for the feedback. It is still a very tricky situation. The person who works as a cleaner has been with me for the last 18 years. I have been giving him an increment each year. Now, he is drawing a salary higher than his younger, yet experienced, supervisors. The only way forward seems to be to continue this practice until he retires.
