Dear Seniors,

Currently, I am working in the garment industry. I recently tried to reconnect with a former colleague who left our company, and I also mentioned it in Form 10 as well as the EDLI exemption form. However, that person has not yet claimed. I have attempted to contact the EDP department but have not found a solution yet. Please help me.

Dear Umesh,

An employee worked with my company and then left. After a year, the same employee returned to my company. In the Provident Fund (PF), they are requesting the same PF number if Form 19 & 10C were not claimed. I reached out to the EDP department of EPFO to clarify my doubt, but they suggested changing the Date of Joining (DOJ), which I believe is not a good idea. My question now is how should I re-register this employee in the EPFO E-RETURN TOOL software?

Some key points to note:
- The employee did not claim Form 19 & 10C.
- I indicated the Date of Leaving (DOL) in the E-RETURN TOOL when the employee exited.
- We are EDLI exempt, so I provided the left details of the same employee when they left.

Thanks & Regards,
Naveen R.
