Comprehensive Guide to PF Withdrawal Process and Forms Submission - CiteHR

Withdrawal of Dormant Provident Fund Account

I was working with a BPO in Pune from December 2003 to August 2005. However, I had to leave my services abruptly as I was selected for a government job and had to join immediately.

During that time, my PF was deducted from my salary. However, due to constraints of service, I could not withdraw the same.

I would like to know how I can go about withdrawing the same as it has been more than 5 to 6 years, and the account has been lying dormant since then.

Thank you.

Karandeep Singh

First of all, you should fill Form No. 10C & 19 to withdraw your PF and Pension Fund Amount and send it to your previous company along with a crossed cheque. If the company denies the same, you may send these forms along with an application to the Regional PF Commissioner's Office directly.

Thank you.

Rightly said, Trinath. If you want to process directly through the regional PF office, then take the ID proof, which must be approved by the Sarpanch or Tahsildar of your locality. Attach Form 19 and Form 10C.
