As per my count, there are nearly 52 labor laws. There could be a couple more depending on the industry and the state. A HR person needs to be familiar with all of them and be thorough with the ones applicable to your industry.

Mr. Saikumar gave you very good information. However, to the best of my knowledge, the Payment of Bonus Act is from 1965. I recommend consulting with seniors or referring to additional sources for verification. I would like to add a few more points for your reference:
