This is what India is. Such accidents are happening often in Tamil Nadu, and innocent kids are losing their lives. However, there is no prompt action from the government side, and corruption is prevalent everywhere. Where are we going?

Dear all,
Please find below the recent history of accidents related to schools in Tamil Nadu. After every accident, there will be a discussion regarding rules and regulations for some time. However, eventually, everyone forgets until the next accident occurs.
1. 16th July 2004: A fire gutted a school in Kumbakonam. The school was situated in a densely populated area with 3 floors. 83 children lost their lives.
2. 4th December 2009: A school van slipped off the road and plunged into a 15-foot deep pond at Katripullam village. The driver was using a mobile phone while driving the van. 9 children and 1 teacher died.
3. 8th November 2011: A school van overturned due to driver negligence at Kokkumedu. 20 children sustained serious injuries.
4. 9th April 2012: A school van overturned due to overspeeding at Ulundurpet. 1 UKG student was killed, and 25 others were injured.
5. 16th July 2012: An auto-rickshaw overturned due to driver negligence at Padiyur. A 12-year-old girl lost her life, and 9 other students were injured.
6. 25th July 2012: A 6-year-old girl was run over by a rear wheel of her school bus after she slipped through a hole on the floor of the school bus at Mudichur.

It is only valuable when somebody wants to learn. There is a lot of news available regarding this kind of incident, but so far, there has been no action from the government. The government needs to take a big step against it, but due to corruption, it is not possible.
