Impression is the first impact you leave on a person, and as we all know, the first impression is the lasting impression. So, to impress someone, the first thing you should do is to be yourself. There's no need to try impression management techniques that may end up making you appear fake. Everyone is unique, so stick to your unique attributes. People will appreciate you for who you are. Be honest, be true to yourself, and there's no need for putting on a halo effect.

By the way, that's true :-) Empathic nature is missing in people. They are not trying to understand that if we were there, how can we react? We are in comfort zones, so we need not think about others. This kind of attitude is developing in people. But remember, if you are the best to yourself and others, carrying a sweet smile, wishing the people who are with you, making small surprises, giving priorities to your near and dear ones, making your immediate boss and fellow colleagues satisfied with your work and support, not forming fast perceptions towards anybody... IN MY VIEW, these actions can make your public relations beautiful :-) You can get positive reflections in life.

Hi there,

To impress people:
1 - Always have and present a smile. You can confirm that the person you want to impress is impressed when you receive a smile from them. At that very moment, you are starting to impress them.
2 - When you are trying to impress others, you MUST listen to what they are speaking and respond. At that time, it's all about them, not you.
3 - Start by asking about that person's family, career path, interests, etc., but it should revolve around them.

These are simple techniques to impress somebody, but this doesn't work for everyone. Especially, I will recognize what people are going to do for me from the first moment itself. However, this is a way to break the ice with opponents and leave a good impression.

Also, often use their names because people usually like to hear their names. So, if you use their names frequently, they will start to like you.

In professional life, just be yourself. Don't bother about what people are thinking of you. Just do what you feel is perfect. The rest of the world will automatically respect and follow you. Stay hungry for knowledge and stay foolish for the application of knowledge.
