As per the new amendment, the maximum benefit under EDLI is Rs. 1,30,000. This amount is to be claimed by the member who has expired due to natural, accidental, or occupational disease in the course of employment after submitting Form 5 (IF) to the RPFO of your concerned area.

It's fine; the limit is 130,000/-, but where is it applicable? Is it through the PF authority or through any trust created for the same? I have doubts about whether the PF authority has increased the limit or not.
