Dear Seniors,

I am Prashant Thakur, working as an HR Executive in a production unit. My company did not have any HR department earlier, but now they want to start one. They have appointed me for this role, despite my limited experience. Now, I want to know:
1. Where should I start?
2. In my company, permanent, contract, and temporary employees are working. What will be the leave policy for them?

Please guide me.

Thank you to all my seniors. I am very happy to gain valuable knowledge that will surely help me a lot. My company manufactures automotive components such as hoses and has 70 staff and 150+ employees.

After a discussion, we have decided to start with training and development. I have to identify the needs of the people as well as the trainers, meaning I have to fully coordinate the training. Please guide me. I want to do my best efforts.
