Effective Tips for Handling HR Interview Questions and Choosing Between Consultancy and MNC - CiteHR

Hi, my name is Rajitha. I'm facing some minor problems in interviews where I'm unable to answer a few HR questions. Recently, I attended an interview where the HR asked me questions like:

1. Why did you choose a consultancy and not an MNC to work?
2. Why do you want to become an HR Executive?

These were the two questions where I faced a problem in answering. Even when I answered the questions, I'm not satisfied with the answers I gave. So, please kindly help me out with a few tips on how to face such types of questions.

Choosing Between Consultancy and MNC

The question of why I chose a consultancy over an MNC is intriguing. My response was that consultancy functions very differently compared to an MNC, offering a diverse range of learning opportunities essential for a career in HR.

Aspiring to be an HR Executive

When asked why I want to be an HR Executive, I answered that I am passionate about the HR profession and enjoy conducting interviews, which is why I chose this career path.

I feel these answers might not fully convey the maturity and correctness expected. Could you please provide guidance on how to effectively tackle such questions?

Regards,
