We are an Housekeeping & facility management company, private ltd having staff that work at client facilities which are cost to client & staff that work at HO which are company cost. Following are queries
1. Which public holidays are applicable to both category staff
2. How many public holidays are applicable?
3. Is there any law that states the same?

Dear Anil Anil,
May I know you are from which company, because I also work for facility management company.
Anyways the government notification for the holiday is attached herewith, You need to provide 10 holidays in a year out of which 4 will be compulsory (26th jan, 1st may, 1st Oct, 15th aug) and 6 of your choice for example : Diwali, Holi, Christmas, ID, Gudipadwa, Bhaubeej, Ganesh Chaturthi etc.
