Hi,
I have relocated to the UK on a Tier 1 dependent visa. I have been searching for a job for the past three weeks, but unfortunately, nothing positive has come up. If anyone working here or who has friends in need of an HR assistant or administrator, please let me know about any opportunities. I have attached my CV for your perusal. Kindly assist me in this regard.
Thank you.

Hi, Kalashree,
The job scenario looks very grim presently as I have a few friends who are currently studying there. Would you be able to guide me through the process and funding details for applying for Tier 1?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Kalashree,
I too have the same profile as yours. I'm MBA (HR) from India and have a good amount of experience in the same field. I have recently come to London. As you rightly mentioned, nothing positive has come up yet. Are you working? Have you found any job for yourself? Please advise me.

Hi,
Are you still looking for a job in the UK? Actually, it's hard because of the recession. I am currently on HSMP and looking for a job in HR in the UK. I believe the best approach is to start with whatever job you can get right now and then gradually transition into an HR or admin role. If you need any help, please let me know.
Kind Regards,
Nakum

Hi Pooja,
Tier 1 starts with the points-based system. There are specific points allotted for criteria such as age, education, current earnings, work experience, and bank balance. If you meet these points requirements, you should then submit your educational documents for NARIC approval. Once your documents are approved, complete the formalities of maintaining the funds in the bank, fill out the form, and submit it to VFS. Then, wait for the visa to be processed.
Other requirements can be found on the website of the UK Border Agency, [UK Border Agency | Home Page](http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/). Additionally, engage in forums and discussions as there may be hidden rules to be aware of.
All the best.
