Dear Peeyush, General principle is 45% basic, 40% of basic HRA, and rest other allowances. Please keep basic more than Minimum Wages applicable in your State. Regards Ajay Morolia

You can distribute the salary structure in some more heads like Management Allowance, Children Education Assistance, News Paper and Magzine allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Medical Reibursement, Professional Development Allowance etc.
