I have divided the entire organization into four parts/ houses, as we used to do in schools and a house is mix of all departments.
You can plan your activities with a mix of popular sports, one minute games, Dumb shell arts, Quiz based on one topic etc.

Hi Diparna,
You can enthuse the fun factor in everyday workplace by introducing new concepts. I have put up a board where we all put in our views/jokes/cartoons etc. This helps all to give their input as also provides a break to the others who read it and bring a smile to the faces of all.
Organize at least an event a month-this could be in the office or outside. If finance is a costraint keep it to small events in the workplace done during an extended lunch break or can be done after hours on a saturday. These events can also be organizing a particular theme for a particular day for eg I had recently organized a picnic for the entire office staff along with their families and the theme of the picnic was "Jeans and sneakers"

Thanks allot for your suggestion! I too had arranged a one day outing for our staff to the beach. It was fun!
Thanks for your suggestion of board. :) I have started an online magazine where employees can post their photos, articles, jokes etc. You can try this. :)

We already have an on-line monthly magazine where all employees (pan India) , are supposed to send their articles, jokes etc.

- Movies.
