Dear All, PF-related Query: Does PF should be the same for all the employees? Is there any certain limit that maximum limit for PF should be 1800 only? Can it go below and beyond that ?

PF rate is the same for all employees. It is 12 percent of the salary. Salary that qualifies for PF contribution means gross salary excluding compensatory allowances like house rent and incentives, the payment of which will depend solely on certain conditions. It may be limited to a salary of Rs 15,000. But there is no compulsion that PF should be deducted and contributed on that amount only. It can exceed Rs 15,000 as well.
