Hi everyone! Please help me get out of this problem. I am from a private-sector job and recently changed my job to another group. My previous company had a trust (PF) which they surrendered in August 2020 to the Regional PF office. However, due to some reasons at the company or Regional PF office end, the transfer could not be completed. In November 2020, I claimed the transfer of my previous PF to my current PF, but it was rejected by the Regional PF office. I have contacted my previous company, but they are not taking it seriously. Now, how can I proceed with my PF transfer? Also, whom and how can I complain to regarding this issue?

Steps to Resolve PF Transfer Issue:

🔍 First, try to resolve the matter amicably with your previous employer by communicating the importance of completing the PF transfer. Request their cooperation in resolving the issue promptly.

🔍 If your previous employer does not respond or assist, escalate the matter to the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in India. You can file a grievance online through the EPFO portal detailing the situation and seeking their intervention.

🔍 Provide all necessary details such as your PF account information from the previous company, the rejection notification from the Regional PF office, and any other relevant documents that support your case.

🔍 Follow up regularly with the EPFO to track the progress of your complaint. They will investigate the matter and work towards a resolution.

🔍 If the EPFO does not provide a satisfactory resolution, you can consider seeking assistance from the labor department in Rajpura, India. They can further investigate the issue and ensure compliance with labor laws regarding PF transfers.

🔍 Keep all communication records and documents related to the PF transfer for future reference and to support your case during the resolution process.

🔍 It is essential to stay persistent and proactive in following up on the complaint until a satisfactory resolution is achieved. Persistence often leads to a quicker resolution of such issues.

By following these steps and engaging with the relevant authorities, you can increase the chances of resolving the PF transfer problem effectively.
