Hi Team,

We are introducing a policy for employees who are using laptops. Just a few simple terms and conditions are included. This is a small IT company with 20 employees, so my question is: do I need to use normal white paper to print this document or letterhead, as they need to sign the agreement?

Anything written in black and white is not an authenticated and legal document unless it is approved, accepted, sanctioned, or authorized and signed by the competent authority. Your company policy may have such an organizational structure and line of authority to formulate directives, policies, and issue them under their signatures.

Further, these directives will require implementation, wide publicity, and awareness. After this, you can use a standard legal format for the policy document, which can be signed and countersigned by the employee and the next immediate authority.

Use standard operating procedures, forms, and formats as per organizational policy.

Hi,

There is no standard policy or structure here. As I mentioned in a previous post, it is a small company where most things are not maintained by anyone. Anyway, my query is about using normal paper or letterhead.

Thanks,
Deepika

You can use letter head if such is the case.
