Hi,
I changed my organization in 2016 and immediately raised a PF transfer request from my previous organization to the current one. However, they did not process it quickly and asked me to submit it again manually after about 6-8 months. I resubmitted the request, but it took a long time on the EPFO portal, and eventually, it was marked as "Amount Settled" after 1.10 years. The amount is now with the Trust of my current organization under my name, but they have not transferred it to my new PF account. The reason given is that in my Annexure K, the new account number is listed as PY**12345, with 12345 being my Employee ID instead of my actual New PF account Number, for example, 678124.
I have raised grievances with the PF office twice to correct this mistake, but I have received the same Annexure K without any corrections each time. When I contacted my PF team in the current organization, they informed me that the EPF department is requesting them to send the money back, which they transferred to the trust, so that they can make the necessary corrections. However, my organization's team is hesitant to transfer the funds back from the trust. As a result, my PF amount is currently stuck in the trust.
Please advise me on who is responsible for this situation and how I can resolve it at the earliest. It has already been over 2 years now.
PS: The account numbers and Employee ID mentioned here are for illustrative purposes only and do not reflect the actual numbers.

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The user reply is incorrect. According to the EPF rules, the responsibility lies with the current employer to rectify the PF transfer issue, not the previous employer's trust.
