A Delhi-based software company informed the person who attended the job interview that they would not provide any benefits other than salary and medical insurance.
What legal course of actions are possible against the company? There are approximately 1000 people employed in that company.
Please advise.

Dear Parimala,
Please check the authenticity of the statement made by the person alleging the company. A company with 1000 employees would typically not deny statutory compliance. However, if the allegation is true, you can file a complaint with the Labor Department and the EPFO.
Thank you.

Dear Parimala, I am afraid whether you would have been misinformed by the job-applicant and raised the query in haste.

Thank you Venkata and Umakanthan sir. I have asked the job applicant to get it in written communication/offer letter whatever told by the company. We will proceed based on that. Regards, Parimala

Hi,
My brother is working in a private company that employs more than 200 employees at that branch, but they are not receiving the benefits of PF and ESI. However, the company ensures compliance related to maternity/paternity benefits, so your company should also explain the maternity benefits at the time of joining. Seniors can advise better here.
Thanks and Regards, Akash Sharma
